Pretty much everyone loves guacamole and shop bought guac (to me) just doesn’t taste the same… It’s not as fresh and it often contains only around 70% avocado with things like double cream, sugar and rice starch being added to it. So, when it comes to guac, its home made all the way and it really, honestly, couldn’t be simpler!
Dollop alongside (almost) anything, use a dip among friends or fork onto toast and top with an egg…
Ingredients
2 ripe (important) avocados 1 tbsp of extra virgin olive oil 1 tsp of lemon juice Pinch of salt Grind of pepper ½ tsp of dried chili flakes
Preparation
Cut and de-stone the avocados
Scoop the avocado flesh into a large mixing bowl
Add the oil, lemon juice, salt, pepper and chili
Mash and mix using the back of a fork
SERVE and enjoy!
